Dawn Taylor is the VP of Clinical Quality at Oak Street Health, a network of health centers providing value-based primary care for Medicare patients in medically underserved neighborhoods. In this capacity, Dawn supports Oak Street Health in the mission to rebuild healthcare, the way it should be, by identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and championing implementation.
Dawn joined the Oak Street Health team in 2016. Within her first year, Dawn proposed and spearheaded the opening of a 24/7 contact center which provides centralized support for all inbound calls, referral processing, and telephonic nursing. In 2018, Dawn led the Patient Safety program, incorporating routine walk-throughs, systemizing training, and onboarding a Patient Safety Manager. Most recently, in partnership with IT, Dawn facilitated the creation of new technology to optimize, standardize, and fully replace core workflows for Call Center Agents, Medical Assistants, and Referral Coordinators. Her focus today remains on the journey toward operational excellence and the oversight of several teams committed to that cause: Quality Improvement, Learning & Development, and Patient Experience.
